1Enter the System Setup program and ensure that the USB key port is enabled. See "Entering the System Setup Program" on page 45.

2Turn off the system and attached peripherals, and disconnect the system from the electrical outlet.

3Open the system. See "Opening and Closing the System" on page 68.

4Reseat the USB key.

5Close the system. See "Getting Help" on page 165.

6Reconnect the system to the electrical outlet, and turn on the system and attached peripherals.

If the problem is not resolved, proceed to the next step.

7Repeat step 2 and step 3.

8Insert a different USB key that you know works properly.

9Close the system. See "Opening and Closing the System" on page 68.

10Reconnect the system to the electrical outlet, and turn on the system and attached peripherals.

If the problem is not resolved, see "Getting Help" on page 165.
