4.1.3 Lubrication

The lubrication used for the components of Stylus Photo R300/R310 has been decided
on based on evaluation carried out by Epson. As a result, the specified amount of
lubricant should be applied in the pl aces specified when carrying out repair and
maintenance work.
When wiping off the grease during the cleaning
If necessary when performing assembly/disassembly of the printer
Refer to the following figures for the lubrication points.
C A U T I O N Never use oil or grease other than those specified in this manual.
Use of different types of oil or grease may damage the
components or affect the printer functions.
Never apply a larger amount of oil or grease than specified in this
manual.
