ÊSet the following values in the Mouse Control Center window:

–Pointer acceleration: 1.0x (minimum value)

–Pointer threshold: 20 pixels (maximum value)

ÊSave the settings.

ÊReboot the managed server.

IIt is not necessary to set the values again after rebooting the server.

You make permanent settings as follows for Gnome:

ÊCall the gconf-editoreditor under the shell.

ÊChoose: desktop - gnome - peripherals - mouse
