NAME setlocale - set the default locale of the XSCF
SYNOPSIS setlocale -s locale
setlocale -h
DESCRIPTION The setlocale(8) command sets the default locale of the XSCF.
The locale that can be set is English or Japanese.
Privileges You m ust h ave platadm privileges to run this command.
Refer to setprivileges(8) for more information.
OPTIONS The following options are supported:
EXTENDED
DESCRIPTION
■The specified locale becomes effective after the subsequent login.
■The currently set locale can be checked by using the showlocale(8) command.
EXAMPLES EXAMPLE 1 Sets the XSCF default locale for English.
EXAMPLE 2 Sets the XSCF default locale for Japanese.
EXIT STATUS The following exit values are returned:

-h Displays usage statement. When used with other options or
operands, an error occurs.
-s locale Specifies the default locale of the XSCF. Either of the following
can be specified for locale:
CSets the locale for English.
ja_JP.UTF-8 Sets the locale for Japanese.
XSCF> setlocale -s C
C
XSCF> setlocale -s ja_JP.UTF-8
ja_JP.UTF-8
0Successful completion.
>0 An error occurred.
