connection is set up as defined in the IDM access policies. For example, if you have defined a user’s access policies to include a dynamic VLAN ID, quality of service (QoS) settings, bandwidth settings, and an access control lists (ACL), IDM sends this information to the RADIUS server so that it can include the information in its authentication reply.

In addition to integrating with the NPS server, IDM integrates with the NAP server. IDM uses the NAP health statement to determine an end- point’s rights. (For more information about the NAP health statement, see “Microsoft NAP” on page A-11.)

Secure Access Wizard—Designed to guide network administrators through the steps of configuring authenticators (such as switches, access points, or the ProCurve Wireless Edge Services Module), the Secure Access Wizard has been enhanced to make the process even easier. You no longer have to configure each device separately, and the wizard uses information PCM+ has discovered about these authenticators and the network.
