Purpose
This manual contains information necessary to test, calibrate and service
DHP DesignJet 200 plotters (models C3180A and C3181A)
DHP DesignJet 220 plotters (models C3187A and C3188A)
For information about using these plotters, refer to the corresponding user guides.
Readership
The procedures described in this manual are to be performed by HP5qualified service personnel only.
Training
The HP ongoing training course CEV25TIJ provides training for HP Customer Engineers, on servicing the complete HP DesignJet series of large5format, thermal5inkjet plotters.
Part Numbers
Part numbers for plotter options, accessories and service parts are located in chapter 10.
Conventions
The term D/A1size plotters refers generically to models C3180A and C3187A. The term E/A0size plotters refers generically to models C3181A and C3188A.
