Storage management
ESS CLI commands that are used to perform storage management on the ESS 800, are issued to a process known as the infoserver. An infoserver runs on each cluster, and either
infoserver can be used to perform ESS 800 storage management. Storage management on the ESS 800 will continue to use ESS CLI commands. Storage management on the DS6000/8000 will use DS CLI commands. This difference in command flow is shown in Figure
