FRAME-BY-FRAME PLAYBACK

•The remote control Pause, , and  buttons can be used to activate frame-by-frame playback, which plays the loaded disc one frame at a time in the selected direction.

•Video CDs are not compatible with reverse frame-by-frame playback.

•Audio automatically mutes when frame-by-frame playback is activated.

To activate frame-by-frame playback:

1.When playback is activated, press the Pause button to pause playback at the current playback time.

2.When pause mode is activated, press and release the  or  button to activate reverse or forward frame-by-frame playback. The picture on the associated display device screen will rewind or advance one frame in the selected direction.

•Video CDs are not compatible with reverse frame-by-frame playback.

3.Continue pressing and releasing the  or  button to continue frame-by-frame playback in the selected direction.

To deactivate frame-by-frame playback:

•Press the Play button to activate playback at the current playback time.

•Press the Stop button to activate stop or resume mode. In some cases, the Stop button must be pressed twice in succession to activate stop mode. When stop mode is activated, playback cannot be reactivated at the current playback time.

SLOW PLAYBACK

•The remote control Pause, , and  buttons can be used to activate slow playback, which plays the loaded disc at 1/16, 1/8, 1/4, or 1/2 regular playback speed in the selected direction.

•Video CDs are not compatible with reverse slow playback.

•Audio automatically mutes when slow playback is activated.

To activate slow playback:

1.When playback is activated, press the Pause button to pause playback at the current playback time.

2.When pause mode is activated, press and hold the  or  button for about 1 second to activate reverse or forward slow playback at 1/16 regular playback speed.

• Video CDs are not compatible with reverse slow playback.

3.Press and release the  or  button again to cycle through all available slow playback speeds – 1/16, 1/8, 1/4, or 1/2 regular playback speed.

To deactivate slow playback:

•Press the Play button to activate playback at the current playback time.

•Press the Stop button to activate stop or resume mode. In some cases, the Stop button must be pressed twice in succession to activate stop mode. When stop mode is activated, playback cannot be reactivated at the current playback time.
