DTS Out

DTS, DTSPCM

Controls DTS audio output format when a DTS source is present and the RT-10 is using the digital audio output connector.

Select DTS if the associated component is compatible with DTS sources. The RT-10 will pass DTS signals directly to the associated component. Select DTSPCM if the associated component is not compatible with DTS sources. The RT-10 will convert DTS signals to PCM before passing them to the associated component.

Associated components that are NOT compatible with DTS sources will output DTS noise when all of the following conditions are met:

A DTS source is present.

The Digital Jack prompt is set to Dolby Digital/DTS or Dolby D/DTS/MPEG OR the DTS Out parameter is set to DTS.

The DTS Out parameter is associated with the Setup Navigator Digital Jack prompt (3-7). The DTS Out parameter and Digital Jack prompt settings have no effect when the RT-10 is not using the digital audio output connector.

Linear PCM Out

Down Sample On, Down Sample Off

Controls PCM digital audio output format when a 96kHz PCM digital audio source is present and the RT-10 is using the digital audio output connector.

Select Down Sample On if the associated component is not compatible with 96kHz PCM sources. The RT-10 will downsample 96kHz PCM signals to 48kHz before passing them to the associated component. Select Down Sample Off if the associated component is compatible with 96kHz PCM sources. The RT-10 will not downsample 96kHz PCM signals before passing them to the associated component.
