Program Mode (continued from page 4-23)

To create a program list:

Note:

These instructions can be used to create MP3 program lists with the MP3 Program tab. Refer to page 4-27 for instructions to create MP3 program lists with the MP3 Navigator.

1.When a disc is loaded, press the remote control PROGRAM button to open one of the Program tabs shown at the top of the next page. The Program tab that was last modified will open on the on-screen display.

If a Video CD or SVCD is loaded, stop mode must be activated before the PROGRAM button is pressed.

If this is a DVD program list, proceed to step 2.

If this is not a DVD program list, proceed to step 6.

2.When a Program tab opens, press the remote control and arrows to select the desired Program tab.

If this is a DVD-V or DVD-RW/R program list, proceed to step 3.

If this is a DVD-A program group list, proceed to step 5.

If this is a DVD-A program track list, proceed to step 6.

Note the following:

Program tabs automatically close a few seconds after the last command is received. If this occurs, all program list modifications that have not been previously stored will be deleted.

If the Program tab automatically closes when the Program Memory parameter is set to Off, all program list modifications that have not been previously stored will be deleted. It is recommended to set the Program Memory parameter to On to ensure that all program list modifications will be stored.

3.When the desired Program tab is selected, press the and arrows to select the Program Memory parameter at the bottom of the Program tab.

Program Memory

On, Off

Determines DVD-V and DVD-RW/R program list storage. This parameter is not available for other disc formats.

When On is selected, program lists for the loaded disc are stored until factory-default settings are restored. When Off is selected, program lists for the loaded disc are automatically deleted when the disc drawer is opened, standby mode is activated, the RT-10 is powered off, or factory-default settings are restored.

The Program Memory parameter setting applies to all program lists that have been created for the loaded disc. In other words, the Program Memory parameter cannot be set to On for a program title list and to Off for a program chapter list.
