To confirm the user-defined password:

When a user-defined password is assigned, that password must be entered before the RT-10 will activate playback mode when a disc encoded with a user-defined security level is loaded. The user-defined password must also be entered before the Level and Country Code controls can be adjusted.

Note:

If the assigned password is lost or forgotten, factory- default settings must be restored to delete the password (5-16). Then, a new password can be entered.

1.When the Confirm Code Number screen opens, use the remote control number buttons to enter the assigned password.

•When a number is entered, the cursor automatically advances to the next character space. Press the  arrow to return to the previous character space or the  arrow to advance to the next character space.

•The number entered in the selected character space appears as an actual number. Numbers entered in unselected character spaces appear as asterisks as shown above.

2.When the assigned password has been entered, an ENTER button appears on the on-screen display to indicate that pressing the remote control ENTER button will confirm the password.

•If the assigned password has been entered, pressing the ENTER button closes the Confirm Code Number screen and opens the appropriate control screen.

•If an incorrect password has been entered, pressing the ENTER button does not close the Confirm Code Number screen. Instead, the ENTER button grays and the cursor returns to the first character space.
