Connecting to Your PC

As stated above, you can use either a serial port or parallel port f or the GDI printer

function.

Verify that the parallel cable you are use conforms to the pinout specifications

listed below:

See “Connecting to a Computer on page A-7 to connect the parallel printer cable

between the MINOLTAFAX2800 and MINOLTAFAX3800 printer port and a

parallel port on your computer.

Installing The Printer Driver

These instructions assume that the Windows program is al ready running. These

instructions are also included in a Readme File on the floppy.

1Click the Start button on the task bar.

2Choose Settings - Printers.

3In the Printers window, click the Add Printer icon.

4The Add Printer Wizard opens. Click Next.

5Choose Local Printer. Click Next.

6A list of printers appears. Click the Have Disk... button.
