Dialing Methods
You can use the following methods to dial a remote facsimile number from your
unit.
Use this setting | for this | |

1. | Key Pad Dial | Dial the number of the remote facsimile using the numeric keypad. You |
|
| can also use the Arrow Key to correct any mistakes. (A maximum of 30 |
|
| digits are allowed, including the “PAUSE” (P). |
|
|
|
2. | One Touch Dial | Press a ONE TOUCH Key. Its number will be displayed and the unit |
|
| scans the document and dials the number automatically. See the |
|
| Advanced Operations. |
|
|
|
3. | Speed Dial | Press the SPEED DIAL Key and enter a |
|
| keypad. The Speed Dial number is shown on the display. The unit scans |
|
| the document and dials the number automatically. |
|
|
|
4. | Group Dial | Press a |
|
| Group Dialing. The Group Name is shown on the display. The unit scans |
|
| the document and dials the numbers automatically. |
|
|
|
5. | Program Dial | Several transmission functions can be programmed in any of the last eight |
|
| |
|
| Touch Key. |
|
| For example: if you want to set up an |
|
| performed regularly, you can register the necessary functions in a |
|
| Program Dial Key. |
|
|
|
6. | Using Combination Dial | If the |
|
| character, additional numbers are necessary to complete the dialing. The |
|
| additional numbers may be stored in a |
|
| or may be entered using the key pad. |
|
|
|
7. | Using the “#” Key | In most PBX applications, a prefix is necessary ahead of the outside |
|
| phone number in order to access an outside line. Once this prefix number |
|
| has been programmed into the machine, pressing the “#” Key |
|
| automatically enters it in the string. |
