Basic Operations of Internet Fax

Manual Transmission(Single Location)

The procedure to manually send an E-mail message from your device is very similar to

manually transmitting a document to a facsimile device over the telephone line.

1Place the documents in the

Document Feeder.

2Press the MAIL Key on the control panel.

3Enter the E-mail address.Then press START to

begin the transmission.

1If you want to change the FROM: location in the E-

mail message, press the Down Arrow Key.

2Enter the E-mail address you want to appear in the

FROM and press START. If you want to change

the location for reply, press the Down Arrow Key.

3Enter the E-mail address for replies and press

START. If you want to change the encoding

method used for the TIFF attachment, press the

Down Arrow Key.

4Use the Left/Light Arrow Key to change the coding

selection. You must be sure that the remote

location can handle the coding type. Then press

YES to transmit.
