Initial User Data

Entering The Date & Time

When you set the date and time, they appear on the LCD when the unit is in stand by mode.

They also print at the top of each page you transmit to an oth er location. The date and time

must be set in order to use the Delay Transmit, Broadcast, and Polling functions of your

unit. Follow these instructions for enterin g the current date and time.

1Use the Menu Navigation procedure on page 4-1 to

access the DATE & TIME? menu selection.

2Press YES. Enter the Time and Date using the 10-

Keypad.

3After entering this information, check to m a ke sure it is correct. If correct, press YES t o

enter it in memory. If it is incorrect, press NO and re-en te r the information.

Entering Your Telephone Number

To have your phone number display on the faxes you transmit:

1Use the Menu Navigation procedure on page 4-1 to

access the USER FAX NO.? menu selection.

2Press YES. Enter your number.

3After entering your number, check to make sure it is correct. If correct, press YES to enter it

in memory. If the number is incorrect, press NO and re-enter the correct number.
