TROUBLESHOOTING & REPAIR

DIODE REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT

Service and repair should be performed by only Lincoln Electric factory trained personnel. TEST DESCRIPTION

The following procedure will aid the technician in removing and replacing stud type diodes to the aluminum heat sinks on the Commander 300.

MATERIALS NEEDED

7/16" Wrench

1" Open end wrench Penetrox A13 Loctite 271

“Slip” type torque wrench E2827-2 abrasive disc

This procedure should take approximately 25 minutes to perform.
