Password | Sequence of digits assigned by the administrator or | |
| randomly generated by the Switch Management | |
| Interface, assigned to a specific user which must be | |
| entered at the remote site to gain access to the | |
| DEFINITY ECS. | |
Remote User | When a remote user attempts to “Go online”, they are | |
Access Code | prompted for a password after the remote module | |
| connects. They must enter their complete access code | |
| which consists of their User ID, followed by a “9” (the | |
| remote change digit), followed by their actual password. | |
Example | For Peter Adams to access the DEFINITY ECS from his | |
