8.Refer to the Status field for the current state of the requests made from applet. This field displays error messages if something goes wrong in the transaction between the applet and the switch.
9.Click OK to use the changes to the running configuration and close the dialog.
10.Click Cancel to close the dialog without committing updates to the running configuration.
6.5.5 Reviewing ACL Statistics
Use the Statistics screen to view set of statistics for those ACLs defined for use with the switch.
To review ACL statistics:
1.Select Security > ACLs from the main menu tree.
2.Click the Statistics tab.
3. Refer to the following information as displayed within the Statistics tab:
Interface | Displays the Ethernet 1, Ethernet 2 or VLAN 1 interface used to add the ACL association to |
| the switch. |
Action | Displays the permit, deny or mark designation for the ACL. If the action is to mark, the packet |
| is tagged for priority. |
Protocol | Displays the protocol used with the ACL. Options available to the switch include icmp, ip, tcp |
| and udp. |
Low Source IP | Displays the Low Source IP Address from where the packets are sourced. |
High Source IP | Displays the High Source (highest address in available range) IP Address from where the |
| packets are sourced. |
Low Destination IP | Displays the Low Destination (lowest address in available range) IP Address. |
