Management PC Setup

This section explains Power Console Plus setup in a computer that manages servers via the network (TCP/IP).

Operating Environment

This section explains the operating environment required for Power Console Plus to operate on a management PC.

„Hardware

–Machine:

NEC Express5800 series

PC/AT-compatible machine (which contains Intel Pentium or a CPU at least equivalent to it)

–Memory:

Size large enough for OS operation + 8MB or more

–Free space of the hard disk drive:

5 MB or more

–Display unit:

Screen size 1024 × 768 or larger

–Required peripheral equipment: Network Interface card CD-ROM unit

Pointing device such as a mouse

–Microsoft Windows NT Version 4.0

(Windows NT Version 4.0 Service Pack 5 or later + Internet Explorer 4.01 Service Pack 2 or later)

–Microsoft Windows 2000
