The mute feature is disabled, and Mute disappears from the display.

Record Caller Number

Follow this procedure to record a caller’s number for accounting purposes on the Nortel IP Phone WLAN Handset 6100 Series wireless handset. Use the Calling Party Number feature to record a caller’s number or to charge a call to an account number for accounting purposes during an established call.

Procedure Steps

Step Action

1Press the Call Party soft key to place the caller on hold. The entered number displays.

2Enter a charge account number or the caller’s number.

3Press the Call Party soft key to return to the call.

Trace a malicious call

Follow this procedure to trace a malicious call on the Nortel IP Phone WLAN Handset 6100 Series wireless handset. Use the Malicious Call Trace feature to trace nuisance calls within your system.

1To use Call Trace while on a call, press the Line button to access the Feature Keys menu.

2Press the number key that corresponds to the Call Trace feature.
