TSI/CSI

This is the telephone number of your fax machine. This number is printed at the top of the faxes you send, and appears on the displays and reports of other fax machines you are communicating with. A TSI/CSI can be up to 20 characters long.

Sender ID

This is a descriptive title that identifies the sender—usually the location of your fax machine or the name of your company or office. It is printed at the top of every fax you send. You can enter up to 32 characters. The first 16 characters will also be used as your Personal ID, which may appear on the displays or reports of other fax machines you are communicating with.

Setting the TSI/CSI and Sender ID

1Press Menu/Exit to enter the menu.

2Input speed access number 02.

3Input up to 20 numbers and characters (0-9/Hyphen/ Space/+), press Enter.

4Press Menu/Exit.

Setting the Answering Mode

Procedure

1Press Menu/Exit to enter the menu.

2Input speed access no. 10 (Auto Answer).

3Press  or  to select the desired mode, press Enter.

4Press Menu/Exit to return to standby mode.

Set the answering mode based on how you want your machine to answer calls and what telephone equipment is connected to it.

Choose the mode that best fits your needs.
