Memory Polling (Bulletin)

During Memory Polling (Bulletin), remote machine(s) contact your fax machine and request (poll) documents. The documents are stored in specified personal mailboxes. The remote machine(s) continue the request(s) until all stored documents in the specified mailboxes have been retrieved.

To use bulletin polling, you must

1Create Personal (Bulletin Polling) Mailboxes.

2Provide the Personal (Bulletin Polling) Mailbox address (number) to the machine requesting documents. For your machine, the address is the number (1 to 16) of the mailbox.

!Memory Polling (Bulletin) and Confidential Faxing share the same 16 mailboxes.

Memory Polling (Bulletin) allows any number of remote machines to contact your machine. The remote machines can retrieve the document as many times as needed.

Memory Polling (Bulletin) is designed to be repeated, by multiple remote machines.

Create a Polling Mailbox

1Press Menu/Exit key to enter Menu.

2Input speed access no. 03, wait.

3Enter the personal box number (1-16), press Enter.

4Press  or  to select Bulletin Polling, press Enter.

5Repeat steps 3 and 4 until the desired number of bulletin polling mailboxes has been created (up to 16).

6Press Menu/Exit to return to standby mode.

Set Bulletin Polling

1Press Menu/Exit to enter the menu.

2Press  to select Polling TX/RX, press Enter.

3Press Enter to select Polling TX.

4Press Enter to select Bulletin Poll (Box).

5Input personal mailbox numbers (1-16), press Enter after inputting each mailbox number.

6When finished inputting mailbox numbers, load the document(s).

7The document(s) will be scanned and stored in memory,

Bulletin Msg. in Mem displays.
