Subscriber

Any caller who accesses the Voice Mail service can record a message in a mailbox; System Manager’s mailbox, Message Manager’s mailbox or Subscriber’s mailbox including an Interview mailbox.

l Rotary Telephone Service

For callers with a rotary telephone, the General Delivery Mailbox is provided to leave a message.

lTwo-Way Recording

The Subscriber can record the conversation in his mailbox.

Description

The Subscriber can reply to a message sender in two ways:

 

 

(a>

Send a message to the sender’s mailbox.

Call the sender’s extension.

In both cases, the-Subscriber does not have to specify the sender’s mailbox or extension. The date and time for reply can be also specified.

Conditions

This feature is available to the Subscribers, the System Manager and the Message Manager.

There are four possible situations which can utilize this feature;

(a)When messages are transferred or delivered via other Subscriber’s mailboxes. (Message Delivery, Internal, Message Transfer)

(b)* When messages are left by a Subscriber who entered the VPS from his extension to access the intended mailbox.

If Direct Mailbox Access of COS is set to “No”, this feature is available. If set to “Yes”, the Subscriber will be directly connected to his own mailbox when entering the VPS (see Direct Mailbox Access).

(c)* When messagesare left by a Subscriber who called from his extension and was forwarded to the VPS.

(d)When messages are delivered via the External Message Delivery service, but the recipient can only leave an immediate reply in the sender’s mailbox (see External Message Delivery Service).
