Scenario 2

The second scenario (Figure F-2, Local Carrier with Remote Standalone) is a carrier communicating with standalone remotes. This scenario is similar to the previous one, treating the carrier devices as the daisy-chained devices. All devices are still on the same subnet, and the subnet mask is FF.FF.FF.00. A static route still must be set in the NMS host to subnet 135.18.2.0.
