2. Installation

If the self-test fails, the Failed screen appears for five seconds. The Fail LED lights, and an eight-digit failure code (xxxxxxxx) is displayed for use by service personnel to determine the cause of the self-test failure. The DSU/CSU continues to try to operate. If you are in doubt about the results of the self-test, use the Self-Test Health command to display the status of this test (see Self-Test Health in Chapter 4, Maintenance).
