MGC+ ReadiManager Installation

The ReadiManager IAM can be installed with the MGC+ unit ON or OFF. Refer to Table2-2 on page 2-12 for more detailed instructions.

It is important that you follow the sequence of steps as defined in sections

below.

OFF 1 Make sure the MGC+ is turned OFF.

2 Remove the blank panel from the front of the MGC+

unit. (This is where the ReadiManager IAM will be

inserted.)

3 Remove the rear I/O panel and install the I/O card on

the chassis.

See “Installing the I/O Card for the ReadiManager

IAM” on page2 -15.

4 Install the ReadiManager IAM.

Unit” on page2 -16.

5 Turn ON the Power switch on the MGC+.
