MPI-4/8 Hardware Installation for the MGC+50

The MPI-4/8 Network Interface card is inserted into the MGC+50.

The MPI box is mounted on a 19” rack together with the MGC+50, as can be seen in Figure 2-13. The MPI box is mounted directly on the rack, above the MGC+50, leaving at least 6” free space above the MGC+50. For details, on how to mount the MGC+50, refer to the section “Mounting the MGC+50 on a Rack” on page 2-28.
