Functional Modules
The Functional Modules (cards) perform the various audio, video, and data processing functions for the MGC+ unit. Both the MGC+100 and the MGC+50 use the same functional modules.
The MGC+100 unit houses up to sixteen Functional Modules, which can occupy slots 1 through 16.
The MGC+50 unit houses up to eight Functional Modules, which can occupy slots 1 through 8.
The LED’s on the front of each Functional Module indicate the status of operation and whether it is functioning properly. Functional Modules are installed via the front panel of the MGC+ unit.
