The ETHERNET PARAMS menu is available only when the Printronix PrintNet option is installed. This menu is for configuring your printer for network operation.
For information on assigning the IP Address, Gateway Address, Subnet Mask and MAC Address, refer to the PrintNet User’s Manual.
You may also enable or disable the Novell or NetBIOS Protocols within this menu, as well as selecting which Novell Frame scheme is used in processing Novell signals. See the Novell chapter in the PrintNet User’s Manual for more details.
If the printer is connected to a Printer Manager utility, the PPM Port number and PPM Port Timeout settings must match the settings in the Printer Manager program. See the appropriate Printer Manager manual for details.
