Chapter 3 Menu Navigation

Follow these steps to save a new configuration:

1.Press the PAUSE key to take the printer offline. The following message displays:

OFFLINE

CONFIG. CONTROL

2.Press the6 key until:

CONFIG CONTROL Load Config.

3.Press the 3 or 4 key until the following displays:

CONFIG CONTROL Save Config.

4.Press the 6 key until:

Save Config. 1*

5.Press the 3 or 4 key to cycle through the options (1-8). Note that the factory default configuration is not listed.

6.When the desired number displays, press ENTER to select it. The following message displays briefly:

Saving Configuration

When processing is completed, the display shows:

Save Config.

NOTE: If the configuration number has been previously saved and the Protect Configs. option is enabled under CONFIG CONTROL, the following error message displays:

CONFIG. EXISTS

Delete First

If the above occurs, see page 59, step 4.

It is recommended that you print your configuration and store it in a safe place for future reference. Refer to page 60.
