Locate the green release button on the inside of the access
door (near the left side of the paper transfer belt). Press
the butto n to release the p ap er transfer belt. Holding th e
handle o n th e paper transfer belt, lift it out o f th e pr inter.

Take a new paper transfer belt out of its package.

Remove the paper covering the paper transfer belt by
removing the tape.
CAUTION
:
• Don’t use sharp objects, such as a knife or scissors, to open
the paper transfer belt package. You could damage the
surfa c e o f th e paper transfer belt.
• Be careful not to scratch the surface of the p ap er transfer
belt.

Holding the handle on the new paper transfer belt, align it
with the slots on the inside of the access door.

Push down until it clicks into place . The n low er the paper
transfer belt until it is parallel with the access door and
firmly seated . Th e g reen r e lease butto n automatically
locks the paper transfer belt.

Close the access door firmly.
CAUTION
:
If the access door is not completely closed, the
printer will not op e rate.

Turn the printer on.
