4Press Enter when the number appears correctly in the display. The LCD prompts you to enter a 4-digit password.

5Enter a 4-digit security password.

After you enter the password, it cannot be verified. Write it down and keep it in a secure location for your reference. To change the password, cancel the mailbox and setup new mailbox with a new password.

This password must be used to print the confidential documents.

6Press Enter when the password number appears correctly. The LCD prompts you to enter a mailbox name.

7To assign a name to the mailbox, enter the name. If not, skip over this step.

8Press Enter. The LCD returns to Standby mode.

Printing Received Confidential Documents

When you receive a confidential document, the fax machine displays ‘MAIL’, total number received, and the mailbox name in

the lower line of the display. 7

1Press Menu, and then or repeatedly until “MAIL BOX” appears on the display, then press Enter. The LCD prompts you to set or print a mailbox.

2Press 2 to print the received mail. The LCD prompts you to enter the mailbox number.

3Enter the desired number using the number keypad. The LCD prompts you to enter the password.

4Enter the password.

If the password is correct, the machine will start printing.

If you enter a wrong password, the LCD asks to enter the password again.
