Setting the Preset White Balance

✤Digital Cameras capture an image using a CCD (Charge Coupled Device) that takes in lighting information and detects the color.

✤The color balance may vary depending on the lighting conditions; white balance is used to preserve natural colors under different lighting conditions.

✤You can set the white balance in (MOVIE), (PROGRAM), A, S, and M modes.

1.Turn your camera on by setting the Power Switch to

(CAMERA) mode.

2.Press the Navigation Wheel once.

■The AWB indicator appears on the LCD monitor.

3.Press the UP or DOWN button to select White Balance (AWB).

■The White Balance control bar appears while the current setting is highlighted in Blue.

✤ Las cámaras digitales capturan una imagen utilizando un CCD (dispositivo acoplado de carga) que recoge la información de la luz y detecta el color.

✤El balance de colores puede variar dependiendo de

las condiciones de luz: el balance de blanco se utiliza para conservar los colores naturales en diferentes condiciones de luz.

✤Puede ajustar el balance de blanco en los modos

(CINE), (PROGRAMA), A, S y M.

1. Encienda la cámaa colocando el interruptor de

encendido en el Modo (CÁMARA).

2. Pulse una vez la rueda de navegación.

■ Aparece el indicador AWB en el monitor LCD.

3. Pulse el botón ARRIBA o ABAJO para seleccionar el Balance de blanco (AWB).

■ Aparece la barra de control de balance de blanco mientras el ajuste actual se resalta en azul.

4. Press the LEFT or RIGHT button to select the desired White Balance setting.

■The selected option is highlighted in Blue.

5. Press the Navigation Wheel again to apply your selection and exit the setting screen.

■ The selected option’s indicator appears on the LCD monitor.

Notes

✤Setting the White Balance may produce different color balances.

✤AWB (Auto White Balance) mode helps to have natural colors under most cases.

✤White Balance setting is memorized in current (CAMERA) mode.

✤Using EASYQ mode cancels the White Balance setting. To recover your White Balance setting, exit the EASYQ mode.

4. Pulse el botón IZQUIERDA o DERECHA para seleccionar el ajuste de balance de blanco deseado.

■Se resalta en azul la opción seleccionada.

5. Pulse de nuevo la rueda de navegación para aplicar la selección y salir de la pantalla de ajustes.

■ Aparece el indicador de la opción seleccionada en el monitor LCD.

✤Ajustar el balance de blanco puede producir balances de colores diferentes.

✤El modo AWB (Balance de blanco automático) ayuda a tener colores naturales en la mayoría de los casos.

✤El ajuste de balance de blanco se memoriza en el modo (CÁMARA) actual.

✤El uso del modo EASYQ cancela el ajuste de balance de blanco. Para 121 recuperar el ajuste de balance de blanco, salga del modo EASYQ.
