Using the Digital Zoom

✤A 3x optical zoom and 12x digital zoom are available. The Zoom indicator shows the current zooming status. A divider indicates the border between optical and digital zooming. The digital zoom digitally processes data from the CCD (Charge Coupled Device, Image Sensor) to enlarge the center portion of the image to fill the frame and may produce a less detailed and slightly grainy picture.

Uso del Zoom digital

✤Se encuentran disponibles un zoom óptico 3x y un zoom digital 12x. El indicador de Zoom muestra el estado de zoom actual. Un divisor indica el borde entre el zoom óptico y digital. El zoom digital, procesa digitalmente los datos del CCD (Dispositivo acoplado por carga, Sensor de imágenes) para ampliar la parte central de la imagen del encuadre y puede producir una imagen menos detallado y ligeramente granulosa.

Zooming In W

Push the Zoom Lever toward the TELE side, to zoom in until the zooming indicator crosses the line to the TELE side. After reaching the maximum optical zoom level, pushing the Zoom Lever downward even further automatically turns on the Digital Zoom.

Zooming Out

Push the Zoom Lever toward the WIDE side, to zoom out until the zooming indicator crosses the line to the WIDE side. After reaching the minimum digital zoom level,

pushing the Zoom Lever even further automatically turns off the Digital Zoom and returns to the Optical Zoom.

Notes

✤Digital Zooming may produce grainy (noisy) pictures.

✤Saving pictures which use the Digital Zoom may take more time.

✤The Digital Zoom is not available for Motion Clips or NIGHT scene mode.

✤Do not obstruct the lens movement while zooming.

	Alejamiento de Zoom
	Empuje la palanca de Zoom hacia el lado WIDE, para
T	alejar el zoom hasta que el indicador de zoom cruce la
	línea al lado WIDE. Tras alcanzar el nivel mínimo de
	zoom digital, al pulsar la palanca de Zoom más, desactiva
	automáticamente el Zoom digital y vuelve al Zoom óptico.

✤El Zoom digital puede producir imágenes granulosas.

✤Guardar imágenes que utilizan el Zoom digital puede tardar más tiempo.

✤El Zoom digital no está disponible para secuencias de imagen ni para el modo de escena NIGHT <NOCTURNO>.

✤No obstruya el movimiento del objetivo mientras utiliza el zoom.
