Programmed Automatic Exposure Modes (PROGRAM AE)

✤The Program AE function works only in REC mode.

✤It allows you to adjust the shutter speed and aperture setting to suit different recording conditions as well as allowing creative control over the depth of field.

✤The available Program AE modes are:

AUTO

Auto balance between the subject and background to get the best result. Suitable for most conditions. The shutter speed automatically varies from 1/60 to 1/250 per second, depending on the scene.

SPORTS

For recording fast moving people or objects. This mode is suitable for sports events, and recording the outside from the inside of a moving vehicle.

PORTRAIT

For focusing the background of a subject, when the background is out of focus. This mode is most effective when used outdoors. The shutter speed automatically varies from 1/60 to 1/1000 per second.

SPOTLIGHT

Compensates for a subject that may otherwise appear too bright when shooting under extremely strong direct lighting such as spotlights. It is suitable for recording indoor events such as concerts and school performances.

SAND/SNOW

SAND/SNOW mode creates good results when the ambient light is very strong such as on a beach shore or in the snow.

HIGH S.SPEED

High Shutter Speed mode. This setting allows fast-moving images to be captured one frame at a time, for vivid, stable slowmotion playback. It is useful for slowmotion playback of fast moving objects such as a golf player’s swing.

✤Program AE functions are not available in EASYQ mode.

✤NITE PIX and Program AE cannot be used at the same time.

✤La función Program AE sólo está operativa en la modalidad REC.

✤Permite ajustar la velocidad del obturador y el ajuste de apertura para adaptarse a diferentes condiciones de grabación así como permitir el control creativo sobre la profundidad de campo.

✤Las modalidades de Program AE disponibles son:

AUTO

Balance automático entre el sujeto y el fondo para obtener el mejor resultado. Idóneo para la mayoría de las condiciones.

La velocidad del obturador se ajusta automáticamente entre 1/60 y 1/250 de segundo, según la escena que se esté grabando.

SPORTS <DEPORTES>

Para grabación rápida con movimiento de gente u objetos.

Esta modalidad es idónea para eventos deportivos, y para grabación del exterior desde el interior de un vehículo en movimiento.

PORTRAIT <RETRATO>

Enfoca el fondo del objeto cuando el fondo está desenfocado. Esta modalidad es más eficaz cuando se emplea en exteriores.

La velocidad del obturador se ajusta automáticamente entre 1/60 y 1/1000 de segundo.

SPOTLIGHT <SPOTLIGHT>

Compensa en un sujeto que puede, por otra parte, aparecer demasiado brillante al disparar en condiciones de luz directa extremadamente fuerte.

Es idóneo para acontecimientos en recintos cubiertos como conciertos y actuaciones escolares.

SAND/SNOW <ARENA/NIEVE>

La modalidad SAND/SNOW crea buenos resultados cuando la luz ambiental es muy intensa como en la playa o en la nieve.

HIGH S.SPEED <AL. VEL. OB.>

Modalidad de alta velocidad de obturador.

Este ajuste permite la captura de imágenes en movimiento por fotograma, para la reproducción estable a cámara lenta. Resulta útil para reproducción a cámara lenta de objetos en rápido movimiento como el golpe de un jugador de golf.
