Customizing Print Options

✤To customize your print options such as PAPER SIZE,

LAYOUT, PAPER TYPE, PRINT QUALITY, DATE

PRINT, and FILE NAME imprint options, select the

PRINTER SETUP menu.

1. In the PictBridge settings menu, press the DOWN button to select “PRINTER SETUP”.

■The available options are listed: DEFAULT and

CUSTOMIZE.

■To change options, select CUSTOMIZE. To reset

your settings back to default, select DEFAULT. 2. Press the RIGHT button and select CUSTOMIZE by

using DOWN button or UP button, then press the OK button.

■CUSTOMIZE menu is displayed.

3. In the CUSTOMIZE menu, you can set following options:

PAPER SIZE	POSTCARD, 4X6, 8X10, A6, A4,	You can select a paper size that is available
	B5	from the printer.
LAYOUT	FULL, INDEX, 1, 2, 4, 6, 8	The option “1” has borders around. Others will not.
PAPER TYPE	PLAIN, PHOTO, FASTPHOTO	Set the type according to the paper type you
		are using.
PRINT QUALITY	DRAFT, NORMAL, FINE	Finer setting will take more time to print.
DATE PRINT	OFF, ON	Date and Time imprint option.
FILE NAME	OFF, ON	Filename imprint option.

4.After setting options, press the MENU button to exit the CUSTOMIZE menu screen.

■ It will return to the PictBridge settings screen.

Notes

✤The “INDEX” option of LAYOUT will print thumbnail images of all the selected pictures.

✤Unsupported menu items are displayed on the LCD monitor as deactivated.

✤INDEX printing over many files (exceeding 10) using PictBridge may take long period of time. For faster INDEX printing, use the DPOF INDEX printing (refer to page 143) or thumbnail printing on a PC.

Personalización de opciones de impresión

✤Para personalizar las opciones de impresión como PAPER SIZE <TAM. PAPEL>, LAYOUT <DISEÑO>,

PAPER TYPE <TIPO PAPEL>, PRINT QUALITY <CALID. IMPR.>, DATE PRINT <FECHA IMPR.> y

FILE NAME <NOMB. ARCH.>, seleccione el menú

PRINTER SETUP <CONFIG. IMPR.>.

1.En el menú de ajustes de PictBridge, pulse el botón ABAJO hasta seleccionar PRINTER SETUP <CONFIG. IMPR.>.

■Aparece una lista con las opciones disponibles: DEFAULT <POR DEF.> y CUSTOMIZE <PERSONAL.>.

■Para cambiar las opciones, seleccione CUSTOMIZE <PERSONAL.>. Para reiniciar los

ajustes a los valores predeterminados, seleccione DEFAULT <POR DEF..>.

2. Pulse el botón DERECHA y seleccione CUSTOMIZE <PERSONAL.> utilizando el botón ABAJO o ARRIBA y pulse el botón OK.

■ Aparece el menú CUSTOMIZE <PERSONAL.>.

3.En el menú CUSTOMIZE <PERSONAL.>, puede definir las opciones siguientes:

TAM. PAPEL	POSTAL, 4X6, 8X10, A6, A4, B5	Puede seleccionar un tamaño de papel que
		esté disponible desde la impresora.
DISEÑO	TOTAL, ÍNDICE, 1, 2, 4, 6, 8	La opción 1 tiene bordes alrededor. Otros no.
TIPO PAPEL	SENCILLO,FOTO, FOTO R	Ajuste el tipo según el tipo de papel que esté
		utilizando.
CALID. IMPR	ECONÓMICA, NORMAL, SUPER	El ajuste más fino tardará más en imprimirse.
FECHA IMPR	DESACT, ACTV	Opción de impresión de fecha y hora.
NOMR. ARCH	DESACT, ACTV	Opción de impresión de nombre de archivo.

4.Tras ajustar las opciones, pulse el botón MENU para salir de la pantalla del menú CUSTOMIZE <PERSONAL.>.

■ Volverá a la pantalla de ajustes de PictBridge.

Notas

✤La opción INDEX <ÍNDICE> de LAYOUT <DISEÑO> imprimirá imágenes en miniatura de todas las imágenes seleccionadas.

✤Las opciones de menú no admitidas aparecen en el monitor LCD como desactivadas.

✤La impresión de INDEX <ÍNDICE> en muchos archivos (que pase de

10) con PictBridge puede tardar mucho tiempo. Para la impresión más

rápida de INDEX <ÍNDICE>, utilice la impresión DPOF INDEX 139 (consulte la página 143) o la impresión de miniaturas en un PC.
