TOGGLE button
SHIFT button
Whenyou push a numeric or unit button while the
SHIFTLED is on, the function shown in blue above
akey is executed. The SHIFT button toggles on
andoff. When the instrument displays the File
NameInput dialog box, you can input upper case
characterswhen the SHIFT LED is on. When you
exitthe dialog box, the SHIFT LED also goes off.
Switchesthe active cursor on the waveform and pattern
editor.In the sequence editor, this button can be used to
cancelthe numeric input mode and make the left and right
arrowsavailable to move the highlight cursor.
General Purpose knob
Selectsa menu item or adjusts a numeric value on the instrument. When
theknob icon is displayed on the screen next to an item, it indicates that
thatitem can be controlled with the general purpose knob.
Keypad
Entersnumeric values. The keys G, M, k, m, m,n
andp are unit keys. The keys A, B, C, D, E and F
areused to enter a hexadecimal value. These keys
areaccessed with the SHIFT button. The unit keys
alsowork like the ENTER key.
CLR button
Clearstext in an active text field.
Delete button
Deletesa character positioned just left of the text cursor and
movesthe cursor to the left by one character. This button does
notfunction when the text cursor is at the leftĆmost position.
Confirmsthe numeric or character string you typed and enters it
inthe instrument. When using the general purpose knob, push
ENTERto confirm the settings.
ENTER key
ThisENTER key has the same
functionas that found in keypad.
INF button
Setsthe Repeat Count to Inf. in the sequence editor. This button
canbe used only for this purpose.
