KCODE command

Defines a double-byte character code translation table.

When you require a user defined translation table of double-byte character codes, you define the double-byte character translation using the KCODE command, then reference this command using the VOLUME KCODE parameter. As an alternative, you can use the USER option of the VOLUME KCODE parameter to reference the KC ODE command for which no identifier was provided.

ac identifier A command identifier of the type ac is optional for the first KCODE command within a JDE. Thereafter, each additional KCODE command must include the identifier. The ac identifier consists of 1 to 6 alphanumeric characters (A through Z and 0 through 9). One of the characters must be alphabetic.
