35.4.2 User Aware Login Example

Access users cannot use the Web Configurator to browse the configuration of the ZyWALL. Instead, after access users log into the ZyWALL, the following screen appears.

LABEL	DESCRIPTION
User-defined	Access users can specify a lease time shorter than or equal to the one
lease time	that you specified. The default value is the lease time that you specified.

Renew	Access users can click this button to reset the lease time, the amount of
	time remaining before the ZyWALL automatically logs them out. The
	ZyWALL sets this amount of time according to the
	• User-defined lease time field in this screen
	• Lease time field in the User Add/Edit screen (see Section 35.2.1
	on page 586)
	• Lease time field in the Setting screen (see Section 35.4 on page
	591)
Updating lease	This box appears if you checked the Allow renewing lease time
time	automatically box in the Setting screen. (See Section 35.4 on page
automatically	591.) Access users can select this check box to reset the lease time
	automatically 30 seconds before it expires. Otherwise, access users have
	to click the Renew button to reset the lease time.
Remaining	This field displays the amount of lease time that remains, though the
time before	user might be able to reset it.
lease timeout
Remaining	This field displays the amount of time that remains before the ZyWALL
time before	automatically logs the access user out, regardless of the lease time.
