However, if the button function requires additional information (for example, a speed dial number or a call forward destination number), you can choose the values for the parameters. There are two exceptions:
■BLF (Busy Lamp Field) — Displays the status of another user's phone. When you press the button associated with the BLF status light, the BLF function calls the other user’s phone.
■System Speed Dial — Dials an
The additional information for these two functions is set by the administrator and you cannot change the values if the buttons are in the locked state.
■Unlocked — Button function and any associated values can be completely reconfigured by you or the administrator.
Note that, if a button function requires additional information (for example, a call forward destination number) and you or your administrator have not configured this information, the system will prompt you for it when you press the button.
Default Model 2102 As noted in Access Buttons, the programmable Access buttons for the Button Assignments Model 2102 phone are located in the right column of 12 buttons. The
buttons are numbered, bottom to top, 1 through 12. The default, 3Com supplied button functions are shown in Table 4. Ask your administrator if these defaults have changed.
