To Assign Devices to the Proxy Agent
Step | Action |
1 | Open the Devices file. |

2 | Locate the device you want to edit. |
|
|
3 | Insert a g in front of the modem speed. |
| Example: ACU ttysxx,M - g9600 hayes |

4 | Do you want to establish multiple, simultaneous |
| connections? |
| ■ If yes, go to step 5. |
| ■ If no, go to step 6. |
|
|
5 | Repeat step 3 for each additional device for which you |
| want to establish a Proxy Agent connection. |
| Hint: If you have other software packages that need |
| devices for connections, do not edit all the devices in |
| the file. |
|
|
6 | Write and quit the file. |
