When to use Program the alarm sender port after you have programmed the alarm receiver port.
Procedure To administer the alarm sender port:
Step | Action |
1Login as root.
2Use any UNIX text editor to open the following Devices file:
/etc/uucp/Devices
3Move to the last line of the ACU entries.
4Add the following line:
ACU ttysxx,M - 12OO paradyne
5Write and quit the file.
