| identify each PC on the network. | |

Check the |

Open the /etc/hosts file. If the answer to any of the following | ||
hosts file | questions is “no,” m ake the appropriate corrections. | |
| ■ Does the file contain lines of text similar to the following? | |
| 127.0.0.1 | [localhost] |
123.45.67.9 [proxyagent]
■Do the values of [localhost] and [proxyagent] match those in the report that displays when you run the netstat
