Syntax: show ip pim [all-vrf | [ vrf vrf-name ] ] resource
The vrf parameter allows you to display hardware resource information for the VRF instance identified
by the vrf-name variable.
The following table displays the output from the show ip pim resource command.

Field Description
Num alloc Number of VRF instances allocated.
System max Maximum number of VRFs allowed in the system.
Size Size of one instance of the resource in bytes.
alloc Number of nodes of that data that are currently allocated in memory.
in-use Number of allocated nodes in use.
avail Number of allocated nodes are not in use.
get-fail Number of allocation failures for this node.
limit Maximum number of nodes that can be allocated for a data structure. This may or may not be
configurable, depending on the data structure
get-mem Number of successful allocations for this node.
size Size of the node in bytes.
init Number of nodes that are allocated during initialization time.
To display usage and fail-count information for SG entries on each VRF, use the show ip pim all-vrf
hw-resource command.
