If You Don’t Have a CD-ROM Drive

All software is supplied on CD-ROM. If you need a Floppy Diskette

version you must tell the Brother Representative the version of Windows®

that you are using and your MFC model number. To order,

call Brother at 1-888-879-3232 (USA), 1-800-668-2768

(from within Canada) or 1-514-685-6464 (from within Montreal).

Only Multi-Function Link® Pro and PaperPort® are available on Floppy

Disks, item numbers DSK9131 (for Windows® 3.1x) and DSK9195 (for

Windows® 95/98). If you are using Windows NT® Workstation

Version 4.0, the software is not available on Floppy Diskette.

Computer Requirements

The following are the minimum computer requirements you need to set up

and operate the MFC as a printer. Use only a shielded interface cable that

is IEEE-1284 compliant, and that is less than 6.5 feet (2 meters) long.

CPU Pentium 75 or Higher

RAM 8MB or greater for Windows® 3.1x

8MB or greater for Windows® 95

(16MB recommended)

16MB or greater for Windows® 98 and Windows NT®

Workstation Version 4.0 (32MB recommended)

Hard Disk Drive 50MB CD-ROM 1

150MB CD-ROM 1 & 2
