Ping

Main Menu

1.System Menu

5. Ping

This option enables the user to ping other network devices for diagnostic purposes.

To ping:

1.Enter the destination IP address and press <Enter>.

2.To determine the VLAN tagging, use the <Space bar> and then press

<Enter>. If you select Yes, two related fields will come up next as you move through the menu: VLAN ID and VLAN Priority.

3.Enter the VLAN ID and press <Enter>.

4.Enter the VLAN Priority and press <Enter>.

5.To determine the number of ping repetitions, use the <Space bar> and then press <Enter> to start pinging.
