Each AC Power Supply Module incorporates the following featur es:
•1 rack unit high
•An output capacity of 1200 Watts at -48 VDC
•O-ring diode
•EMI filtering
•Cooling fan
•Power switch
•DC and AC status LEDs
DC-Powered MGX 8230
For DC systems, a DC Power Entry module (PEM) is requir ed for each DC so urce of centra l of fice po wer
-42 to -56 VDC. The MGX 8230 can support two DC power sources and has rear panel slots for two DC
PEMS. Figure 1-5 illustrates a DC PEM.
