Configuring Terminal Mode

1Expand the System tree and click Remote Access.

2Click the Network/Security tab and then click Serial.

3In the Serial page, click Terminal Mode Settings.

4Configure the terminal mode settings.

See Table 5-11 for description of the terminal mode settings.

5Click Apply Changes.

6Click the appropriate Terminal Mode Settings page button to continue. See Table 5-12 for description of the terminal mode settings page buttons.

Line Editing

Enables or disables line editing.

 

 

Delete Control

Select one of the following:

 

iDRAC outputs a <bksp><sp><bksp> character

 

when <bksp> or <del> is received

 

iDRAC outputs a <del> character when <bksp> or

 

<del> is received

 

 

Echo Control

Enables or disables echo.

Handshaking Control Enables or disables handshaking.

New Line Sequence

Select None, <CR-LF>,<NULL>, <CR>, <LF-CR>,

 

 

or <LF>.

 

 

 

 

Input New Line

Select <CR> or <NULL>.
