3.1.3 Syslog
The Vigor3300 Series supports a Syslog function to keep a record of abnormal conditions. The router will send Syslog packets to a Syslog server on the remote site. The administrator can observe any abnormal events from Vigor3300. In the System group, click the Syslog option. The Syslog web page is shown below:
Status | Click Enable to activate this function. The router will send system |
| log message for your reference. If you click Disable, the router will |
| not send out any message about system log. |
Syslog Server IP | The IP address of the Syslog server. If a user assigns an IP address |
| of “0.0.0.0”, the Syslog function will be disabled. Then, Vigor3300 |
| will not send Syslog packets to the Syslog server. |
Syslog Server Port | Assign a port for the Syslog protocol. |
