An algebraic expression.

Output:

A list containing, the points where the expression changes sign, and between each pair of points,

 

the sign of the expression between those points.

Exact mode must be set (flag –105 clear).

 

Numeric mode must not be set (flag –3 clear).

 

Radians mode must be set (flag –17 set).

Example:

Show the ranges of values of x for which the expression 2-x2is positive and negative.
